Four Days of Family Fun!
Bring the whole family for a taste of good old-fashioned Americana. Our traditional salute to Independence Day includes a parade, carnival rides, fireworks and more!
Historic Downtown Parkville kicks off the annual July Fourth Celebration on Wednesday, July 2 when the carnival open in the parking lot at the south end of Main Street. In addition to the carnival, this fun, family-style celebration includes a community parade, a pancake breakfast, a variety of food vendors, and, of course, our big firework finale on July 4th. Come early and bring the family for a weekend of good, old-fashioned Americana in Historic Downtown Parkville.

Wednesday, July 2 – Thursday, July 3
- Carnival: 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.
- Wristband Special: $20 unlimited rides
Friday, July 4
- Pancake Breakfast at American Legion: 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
- Parade: 10:00 a.m.
- Carnival: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. ($1 per ticket or $20 for 22 tickets 2-3 tickets per ride)
- Vendors: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Shuttle Service: 6:00 pm till mid-night South Platte Community Center, Park University and Park Hill South High School
- Parkville Symphonic Band, Park University, Graham Tyler, Memorial Chapel: 7:30 p.m.
- Falcon Sky Diving Team: 8:00 p.m.
- Fireworks: 9:45 p.m. NOTE: Outside fireworks will not be permitted in festival areas.
Saturday, July 5
- Carnival: 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.
- Wristband Special: $20 unlimited rides
