I actually agree with what Katy Perry is proposing!  She’s proposing that social media needs to take a break for a day because it’s “very narcissistic”!!  She said “I wish there was a thing like Shabbat that wasn’t particularly religious-based, that was kind of a worldwide day where we’re not on our phones—like a movement.” and again, I believe that she’s on to something.  Could you imagine one day a week where we put down our phones and actually talked to people?  I personally try to do that at least once a week!
