It looks like change might be coming to an AMC theater near you!  The new AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron is totally open to the idea of allowing people to TEXT during movies!  Aron says, quote, “When you tell a 22-year-old to turn off the phone, don’t ruin the movie, they hear please cut off your left arm above the elbow.  You can’t tell a 22-year-old to turn off their cellphone.  That’s not how they live their life.”  Uh…yes you can!  And lets be honest…when was the last time you really turned off your phone during a movie?

Obviously Aron recognizes that plenty of people will HATE this idea.  People would have the option of seeing their movie in a text-friendly or no-texting theater.
